Ebony Bradley, artistically known as Ebony "tha GODDESS", is a 34-year-old creative in many facets. This Spoken Word Artist, Poet, Singer, Author, Podcaster, and Plus Size Influencer was born and raised in Moss Point, MS where she currently resides. Ebony is widely known for her passionate and thought-provoking messages while taking you on an experience as she reflects on her past self. She uses a pen and pad to expose her heart, spreading "tha GODDESS" experience to the world, and leaving others in awe of her transparency.
"The Moon of Moss Point" had humble beginnings with poetry while enjoying the rhythmic stylings of Dr. Seuss. From there, her writings flourished when being reintroduced to poetry in middle school, writing "How Can I Love Someone I Hate". She also recalls writing poetry for her older cousin, Curtis Riley. While struggling with drug addiction and substance abuse, he would ask Ebony to write poems to read for church services, to express the spiritual warfare he was enduring. Not long after, she stopped writing all together because she felt her words were being used as weapons by her mother, after secretly finding her journal.
Ebony was reunited with poetry during a very tumultuous relationship with the father of her two beautiful sons. She often says that poetry was how she rediscovered her strength and being a mother reminded her of how to use it. It was the perfect storm, propelling her into purpose as a prolific presence. She later answered that calling as a Spoken Word Artist shortly after witnessing the GODDESS energy of Mobile, AL's prodigal daughter, Lady Tess. This was following her first open mic performance at Da Wall Poetry in Gulfport, MS on October 6, 2018. Later, she received her first feature opportunity at Da Wall Poetry on June 1, 2019.
Seeing the poetic powerhouse that is Tess, evoked something within "tha GODDESS" to dig deeper, finding her voice and birthing her album entitled Ebony Speaks. Ebony Speaks was produced by Halo City Entertainment and available for purchase at bandcamp.com. This poetry album was done in dedication of the late Lady Tess and the lasting impression she's made on the artist. She believes that her spirit lives on in every artist and individual that was embraced by Lady Tess. She can still feel the power of her presence every time she comes into contact with those that Tess has touched.
In 2023, Ebony "tha GODDESS" released her first book of poetry in commemoration of her 5-year poetic anniversary. Ebony self-published through Amazon in less than 60 days and now uses her wisdom to empower other artists looking to self-publish. Her book is entitled Worth the Weight and includes work written over the past 5 years. Worth the Weight acknowledges her past while celebrating her perseverance into the present. "After everything I've been through, I look back and reflect on it all. I've realized that it was all worth the weight for the woman I've become. I acknowledge my past and hold space for that, but I see now how it's pushed me into my purpose."
Over the past 5 years, "The Moon of Moss Point" has been spreading the GODDESS Experience all over the South, performing on stages throughout Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Tennessee, South Carolina, Missouri, Texas, and Illinois. Her poetic resume includes opportunities where she's opened for names such as Ed Mabrey, Talaam Acey, the great Shirley Murdock, Hip Hop artist Twista, and highly decorated actor Omar Epps. She's a member of Black On Black Rhyme's Step2DaMic Poetry Troupe and THE 20/20 Podcast, LLC both of Mobile, AL. Also, she's gained poetic family by way of Clubhouse in One Love Poetry Series, IAM Voice of the Voiceless, The Lost Tribe of Poets, The Society of Poets, Powerhouse Poets, Songs in the Key of Poetry, and The HoneyDripper Collective.

Her pen... it's lethal! It has the "write" temperament to be controlled by the soul, yet wise enough not to be tamed by the game.
